I joined Iler Campbell as an articling student, spent some time practising condominium law at another firm, and am thrilled to be back as an associate. Like many lawyers at Iler Campbell, I have a diverse practice, but mainly focus helping our non-profit and co-op clients with corporate and real estate issues. My work includes condominium development, financing, commercial leasing, the growing area of real estate co-ownerships, corporate governance, and housing matters.

Before law, I worked for non-profit organizations in Vancouver and Toronto which gave me great perspective on many challenges faced by Iler Campbell’s clients. I have a Masters degree in Political Science from the University of Toronto where my studies focused on indigenous land claim processes. It was through my graduate studies that I began to seriously consider a career in law.

I became a lawyer because I wanted to make meaningful contributions to some of the social challenges we face - particularly relating to housing. I’m very lucky to work every day with Iler Campbell’s great clients and help further their missions.

I sit on the board of directors of the Parkdale Neighbourhood Land Trust, an exciting organization that is addressing the challenges faced by the neighbourhood as a result of gentrification. I’m thrilled to contribute to this important work, which also gives me a real world perspective that I bring to my client service.
