This time we’ve just a quick note to let you know that Brian has joined the Ontario government’s new Advisory Committee on the Not‑for‑Profit Corporations Act, 2010. He will be representing the Center for Social Innovation.

June 9th, 2010 by Brian IlerOn May 12, the Ontario Government released its first draft of legislation to replace the existing Corporations Act, for non-profit corporations. This will affect most non-profits (some are incorporated federally), but will not affect co-operatives (whether non-profit or not).
