Brian is a speaker at the Ontario Nonprofit Network Conference, Friday, September 28, 2012. He’ll be participating in a half day session on organizing renewable energy community power projects where he’ll be speaking on contracting to implement community power projects. It will be held at Victoria College and costs just $35 to attend.
This session, coordinated by the Climate Change Lawyers Network, will briefly describe the climate change challenge, the FIT Program, the experience with community power in other jurisdictions, the community power incentives and assistance under the FIT Program, and steps that not-for-profits can take to participate in FIT Programs. Attendees to this session can expect to learn:
