Dear Clients:

We wanted to let you know of two exciting developments here at Iler Campbell LLP.

On the staffing side, our partnership has expanded to include Michael Hackl and Safia Lakhani. Michael has been a member of the firm’s litigation team since 2016, advising our clients on labour and employment matters as well as construction projects and commercial ventures. Safia has worked on housing, employment, and other litigation matters since she joined the firm in 2014. Both Michael and Safia are excited to continue working with you to address your specific litigation needs.

As most of you know, the firm was also excited to welcome Ken Farrell and Fatema Jivaji to the team over the past two years. They continue to work on corporate, commercial, real estate, and estate matters. Check out our earlier blog posts on these exciting additions to the team here and here.

On December 31^st, the firm will be saying goodbye to Celia Chandler. As many of you know, Celia has been actively involved in building the firm’s housing (and co‑operative) practice since she started here as an articling student 17 years ago. We wish Celia all the best in this new chapter! Brian Iler will cease to be a partner at the end of the year‑ however, he will continue as Counsel to the firm, marking his 50^th anniversary as a lawyer here in 2024. Ted Hyland will continue as a partner.

Second, we’re moving offices!  On September 24, 2022, Iler Campbell LLP will be moving a few blocks east of our current location, to 30 St. Patrick Street, 11^th Floor, Toronto, Ontario M5T 3A3. The new office is close to the Osgoode subway station and has plenty of parking for bikes and cars. We look forward to welcoming you into our new home and ask that you update your address books for any in person visits!
