Amanda Carpenter, Associate

I am a lawyer in the firm's real estate and corporate group. I have a decade of experience in both residential and commercial real estate law acquired from Toronto law firms. While practicing real estate law, I have also acquired experience in corporate law and estate planning. I enjoy puzzling through client's legal problems and providing cost-effective practical solutions.

Prior to law school, I studied computer science and humanities at McGill University, as well as won awards for my efforts to advance environmental protection. After graduating from my undergraduate degree, I worked with non-profit organizations in Canada and abroad.

I earned my J.D. degree from Osgoode Hall Law School, York University in 2012. I was called to the Ontario Bar in 2013. During law school, I spent a summer researching green energy in Ontario with an environmental law organization. After law school I continued to volunteer my time including in leadership roles towards advancing social justice and environmental issues.

In my free time, I enjoy practicing mindfulness and making the world a more just and sustainable place.
